                  Townhouse Members!

Subject: Area Renovations
Townhouse Members:
Your help is needed.
The Board is working to make a list of the many needed repairs to the Townhouse properties, establish a priority list and then a plan to get the repairs completed.
You can help! Simply take a picture of any exterior area that needs repairs and email it to info@northparkhoaclarksville.com . In the email please provide the address of the unit where the picture was taken. Landscaping pictures are not needed, this is already on the list. We are looking for damages to the building such as damaged siding, etc...
Thank you, The Northpark Townhouse Association.
Subject: Adjustment to Townhouse Property Insurance Premiums
Townhouse Members:
Recently the Montgomery County Assessors Office has re-assessed and corrected the square footage of all units in the Townhouse Area. This was in response to complaints that the Assessors office had received concerning incorrect square footage reported on townhouse property records. All townhouse properties records have been updated.
It is recommended that you review your property record to see how your property has been affected. You can click here to be taken to the Montgomery County Tax Assessors office where you can look up and view your property online. If your mailing address is incorrect, then you can contact the tax assessors office and provide them with current information.
After speaking with the Tax Assessors Office, it seem that "Assessed property values" and "property taxes" will NOT BE greatly affected, but review your property record. However, this re-assessment/correction will have some impact on the Property Insurance premium.
We are waiting on a response from the Insurance provider to see if the Insurance Policy Premium will be affected. Once the response is received, the insurance premium rate will be adjusted and each member will also be sent a notice that will provide you with detailed information as to how your units insurance premium amount is affected by this change.
Update on 01/08/2017: The insurance provider has advised the HOA, that the change in the square footage reported by the Assessors will not affect the premium amount for March 2017 thru Feb 2018. The renewal paperwork for the policy has not yet been received.
The insurance premium rate will again adjust on your March 2018 Statement when the insurance policy is scheduled to renew.
We will keep you posted as information arrives.
Thank you.
